Yes — Hufaaz needs internet to sign in, stream your chosen Qari's audio, and back up your progress. Shuraym's Juz 1 audio is bundled, so you can try recitation feedback right after installing.
How accurate is the mistake detection?
Hufaaz listens as you recite and flags where you slip, then plays the correct ayah back in your Qari's voice. It works best in a quiet place with clear recitation — loud background noise can affect it.
Is my recitation and data private?
Yes. Your microphone is used only while you're reciting to give you feedback, and your progress is tied to your own account. No ads, and we never sell your data — it's an Amanah.
Is Hufaaz free, and what does Premium cost?
The free plan covers Juz-based tracking, daily recitation practice, reminders, and streaks. Premium is $2.99/month or $29.99/year and unlocks unlimited feedback, all 11 Qaris, mutashabihat drills, spaced repetition, and full analytics.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?
Premium is billed through Google Play. Cancel anytime from Play Store → Subscriptions and you keep access until the period ends. Refunds follow Google Play's standard policy.
Is Hufaaz available on iPhone?
